This includes procurement support, installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration, safety compliance, and user training. The role ensures optimal equipment functionality across company facilities, in alignment with medical regulations, industry standards, and organizational goals.JOB DIMENSIONSNumber of Staff Supervised: Direct Reports: 1Total Reports: 2KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESDescriptionKey Results AreasMedical Equipment Maintenance & Technical SupportOversee and manage the execution of maintenance plans for all medical equipment to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety regulations. Repair, maintain, and supervise all preventive maintenance activities for medical equipmentDevelop and implement a detailed maintenance schedule for all biomedical devicesConduct safety inspections and performance evaluations on newly installed equipmentEnsure all test tools and maintenance instruments are properly calibratedFinancial & Procurement CoordinationManage the biomedical equipment budget and collaborate with the supply chain for financial planning. Follow up on the yearly budget for the biomedical section with the Supply Chain departmentPrepare monthly reports on budget consumption, PPV, corrective maintenance, and spare parts usageEvaluate, discuss, and negotiate RFPs for new medical equipment purchasesCompliance & Quality AssuranceManage and effectuate the adherence to safety, health, and quality standards in medical equipment operations. Ensure compliance with GAAHER accreditation audit requirementsMaintain records and follow up on regulatory documentation related to equipment safety and qualityConduct investigative evaluations of medical equipment incidents and employee accidentsVendor & Supplier CoordinationManage relationships with medical equipment suppliers and external service providers.
