Key Accountabilities: Functional Configuration: Configure Oracle Financials modules, GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management, to fulfil business requirements and align with organizational processes.Technical Development: Design, develop, unit-test, and deploy technical components including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions (RICE/RICEW), and Workflows using Oracle-standard toolsets.Reporting & Dashboards: Create and customize complex financial reports and dashboards using Oracle Reports and XML Publisher (BI Publisher), ensuring accuracy and executive-level presentation.Production Support & Troubleshooting: Provide day-to-day support for Oracle EBS Financials; diagnose and resolve issues, author SQL scripts, and manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs) through to resolution.Analyze and resolve user issues related to financial transactions and system functionality.Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.Project Lifecycle Participation: Lead or contribute across all project phases including requirement gathering (RD50), functional design (MD50), technical design (MD70), system integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with finance business users, project managers, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into supportable, scalable Oracle solutions.Participate in ERP enhancement projects and process improvement initiatives.Documentation & Compliance:Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and changes.Assist in preparing test scripts and user acceptance testing (UAT) documentation.Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and IT governance standards.Academic and professional qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.Oracle EBS Finance Functional or Technical certification is a plus.Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database development and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance implementations or support engagementsDeep functional understanding of finance processes across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM)Skills:Proficiency in the use of word processing and spread sheet software, Word and ExcelOracle ERP expertiseExcellent report writing skills
