The Business Development Engineer will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with clients, and support the development of strategic proposals in line with the firm’s architectural and engineering services. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, analyzing target sectors, preparing technical and commercial presentations, and collaborating with design and engineering teams to tailor solutions to client needs. The role also involves managing the sales pipeline, attending client meetings and site visits, preparing bids and RFP responses, and tracking performance against revenue and growth targets. The Business Development Engineer will work closely with leadership to refine go-to-market strategies, enhance the client experience, and ensure consistent follow-up on leads and opportunities.Qualifications Strong business development capabilities, including New Business Development and Business Development experience in architecture, engineering, or construction sectors.Demonstrated Sales and client relationship management skills, with the ability to convert leads into long-term partnerships.Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.Proficient Analytical Skills to assess market trends, evaluate opportunities, build forecasts, and support data-driven decision-making.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.Proven experience in business development or technical sales, ideally within architectural, engineering, or construction environments.Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), and basic project management practices.Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic and familiarity with the Egyptian construction and real estate market are strong pluses.
