Job Description:• Identification of new business opportunities• Lead the development and preparation of expressions of interest (EOIs), tenders and proposals ensuring they are submitted on time and in accordance with client/ International Financial Institutions (World Bank, African Development Bank AfDB, KFW, GIZ, EBRD, IFC, UNDP) specifications.• Conduct market analysis to identify new tender opportunities and assess their potential for business growth.• Work closely with cross-functional departments including technical, financial and administrative departments to gather necessary information for tender submissions.• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and partners to support the development of business proposals.• Ensure all tender documentation is clear, compelling, and technically accurate, and that it addresses all criteria set out in the tender requirements.• Assist with the negotiation and closure of deals, as well as the handover to project implementation teams.• Maintain a comprehensive database of active and historical tenders, including feedback and outcomes to inform future tenders.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development and tender process management• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.• Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to produce persuasive and clear responses to tender questions.• English Language proficiency.• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex contract requirements.• Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with tender submission platforms.Application Process:Interested candidates are invited to send a resume to genena@ecoconserv.com and business.development@ecoconserv.com detailing their experience and qualifications in relation to the responsibilities and requirements outlined in this job description
