We are looking for an experienced Business Development Team Lead to drive new customer acquisition in the Egyptian market and lead a high-performing BD team focused on unmanaged and new accounts.The role requires a strong hunter mindset, deep knowledge of the local Egyptian market, and proven experience in building pipeline from scratch, opening new accounts, and closing new logos. The Team Lead will be hands-on in sales activities while coaching and developing the team to consistently achieve targets.Key ResponsibilitiesNew Customer AcquisitionOwn and execute the new customer acquisition strategy in Egypt.Identify, prospect, and win new logos across target industries and segments.Drive outbound activities including cold calling, networking, referrals, and market mapping.Lead customer discovery, qualification, proposal development, and deal closure.Team Leadership & PerformanceLead, coach, and develop the Business Development team.Set clear KPIs, targets, and activity metrics for team members.Conduct regular performance reviews, pipeline meetings, and coaching sessions.Lead by example through active involvement in high‑value opportunities.Sales & Customer EngagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with decision‑makers and key stakeholders.Deliver professional sales presentations and value propositions aligned with customer needs.Support negotiations and ensure alignment on scope, pricing, and delivery expectations.Pipeline & CRM ManagementEnsure accurate CRM usage and strong pipeline hygiene.Monitor pipeline coverage, conversion rates, and forecasting accuracy.Provide regular reports on pipeline status, wins/losses, and market insights.Internal CollaborationCoordinate with internal teams to ensure solutions align with customer requirements.Ensure smooth handover and follow‑up throughout the sales cycle.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)New customer acquisition (new logos).Revenue and profit target achievement.Pipeline value, quality, and conversion rates.Team performance and target attainment.CRM accuracy and reporting discipline.Required Experience & QualificationsProven experience in Business Development / Sales with strong focus on new customer acquisition.Solid experience in the Egyptian local market with understanding of buying behaviors and decision cycles.Prior experience leading or mentoring a BD/sales team (formal or acting lead role).Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Hands‑on experience with CRM systems and pipeline management.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.Preferred ProfileStrong hunter mentality with the ability to open doors and build pipeline independently.Existing local market network is a strong plus.Results‑driven, structured, and highly accountable.Comfortable working in a target‑driven, fast‑paced environment.
