Position: Cairo Operations- Lead.Location: Bureau Veritas Cairo OfficeReports To: Industry Head.Direct Reports: Inspection Team, Support Staff.Role SummaryThe Industry Services Operations Lead is responsible for the end‑to‑end operational performance of Bureau Veritas Industrial Services division. This includes managing technical teams, ensuring compliance with international standards, driving operational efficiency, supporting business growth, and maintaining strong customer relationships.This role requires a leader with strong technical understanding, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multi‑disciplinary teams in a fast‑paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage daily operations of the Industrial Services division (Inspection, NDT, Welding, Pressure Equipment, Asset Integrity, etc.)Ensure full compliance with Bureau Veritas procedures, accreditation requirements, and international codes/standards (ASME, API, ISO, PED, National Board, etc.)Plan, allocate, and optimize manpower, equipment, and resources to meet project timelines and client expectationsDrive operational excellence through process improvement, KPI monitoring, and performance managementSupport business development by preparing technical proposals, reviewing contracts, and participating in client meetings with Sales Team.Maintain strong relationships with key customers in oil & gas, petrochemical, manufacturing, utilities, and government sectorsOversee project execution, reporting, documentation, and quality assuranceManage budgets, cost control, invoice cycles, and operational profitabilityEnsure competency development, training, and certification of technical staffQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field .Minimum 15 years of experience in Industrial Services, Inspection, or Oil & Gas operationsProven experience in managing technical teams and multi‑disciplinary projectsStrong knowledge of ASME, API, ISO, PED, National Board, and related industrial codesCertifications such as API 510/570/653, CWI , ASNT NDT Level II/III or equivalent are highly preferredExperience in budgeting, resource planning, and operational performance managementStrong communication, leadership, and customer‑facing skillsKey CompetenciesOperational leadership and decision-makingTechnical expertise in industrial inspection and certificationCustomer relationship ManagementCommercial awareness and cost controlProblem-solving and analytical thinkingTeam development and coachingHigh integrity and commitment to safety and quality
