Collection Specialist

® Job SummaryThe Collection Specialist is responsible for managing overdue accounts, ensuring timely collections, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting accurate forecasting and follow-up activities. The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and consistent reporting to improve cash flow and reduce aging balances.® Accountability & Responsibilities Contact customers regarding overdue invoices through calls, emails, and follow-up meetings. Maintain accurate collection records and customer communication logs. Prepare and update: Clear feedback reports Forecasting reports Follow-up sheets Monitor aging reports and prioritize collection actions. Resolve billing disputes and coordinate with internal departments. Negotiate payment plans when necessary. Ensure monthly collection targets are achieved. Escalate high-risk or non-responsive accounts. Support management with collection analysis and reporting. Maintain compliance with company policies and financial procedures.® Requirements Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. 1–3 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable. Strong Excel and reporting skills. Good communication and negotiation abilities. Attention to detail and analytical thinking.Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
