Job Title: Assistant Manager – Commercial Experience Required: 8–10 yearsAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced professional to join as Assistant Manager – Commercial, responsible for driving inventory governance, material consumption control, yield optimization, and financial accuracy across plant operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, operational discipline, and cross-functional collaboration with production, quality, and finance teams.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Control: Ensure accurate accounting of RM, WIP, and FG; drive cycle counts, reconciliations, and ageing analysis.Material Consumption: Track BOM vs actual usage, analyze variances, and validate costing structures.Yield Optimization: Monitor scrap/rejections, reduce conversion losses, and implement waste cost reduction initiatives.Stores Operations: Oversee receipt, storage, issue, and dispatch with strict compliance to FIFO/FEFO.Financial Controls: Lead month-end inventory closure, valuation, and audit readiness.MIS Reporting: Deliver insights on inventory accuracy, scrap trends, yield performance, and consumption variances.Desired Profile8–10 years of experience in commercial, inventory, or plant operations roles.Strong knowledge of inventory management, costing, and material flow.Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
