Cost Analysis and Recording• Record and analyze direct material, direct labor, and manufacturing overhead costs.• Ensure accurate and compliant cost entries in the accounting system according to company policy.2. Cost Reporting• Prepare periodic cost reports related to production and operating activities.• Generate cost sheets for units, projects, and operations for internal management review.3. Variance Monitoring and Control• Compare actual costs with standard or budgeted costs.• Analyze cost variances to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.4. Coordination with Operational Departments• Collaborate with production, procurement, and inventory teams to collect necessary cost data.• Provide financial guidance to departments regarding cost management and performance.5. Reconciliations and Audit Support• Reconcile cost accounts to ensure consistency and accuracy.• Support internal and external audits by providing cost records and explanations as needed.6. Inventory Costing• Calculate inventory costs based on approved costing methods (e.g., FIFO, LIFO, weighted average).• Prepare and update cost of goods sold (COGS) and inventory valuation for financial reporting. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.• Experience: Previous experience in cost accounting, financial accounting, or cost analysis preferred
