Cost Control Manager - Construction Engineering

Develop and maintain project cost control systems and procedures.Monitor project costs against approved budgets and cost baselines.Prepare periodic cost reports, forecasts, and variance analysis.Track project progress, commitments, and expenditures.Review and validate subcontractor invoices and payment certificates.Monitor material procurement costs and site expenses.Prepare and update project cash flow forecasts.Analyze cost deviations and recommend corrective actions.Support project teams in budget planning and cost estimation.Review variation orders, claims, and change requests from a cost perspective.Coordinate with planning, procurement, finance, and project management teams.Ensure accurate WIP (Work in Progress) reporting.Monitor project profitability and cost performance indicators.Assist management in financial decision-making related to project costs Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management10–12 years of experience in cost control within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of project budgeting and cost tracking.Experience in construction project financial analysis and reporting.Familiarity with variation orders, and claims management.Experience with Excel, and ERP systems.Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
