At Aqualia, we are committed to making it happen.For one of our desalination plants on the North Coast of Egypt (Matruh), we are looking for a Cost Controller to join the project team.This role offers the opportunity to work in a complex EPC environment, supporting cost, schedule, and performance control in a large‑scale industrial project with high visibility and long‑term impact.Responsabilities: Plan Cost Management as per budget.Estimate Cost Variances.Expectations and determine new budget.Controlling costs and reporting risks.Actual Cost Reporting monthly.Updating the master budget regularly.Forecasts, controls, and reports project costs needed within an organization.Develops and provides project variances, trending and analysis of expenditures, and completion reports.Reviews project costs incurred by category, calculates future costs based on labor productivity, material price increases, subcontract, wage rates and risk analysis.Under general supervision, solve complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices in project controls.Use experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes.May provide guidance to less experienced team members.Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required.Define project/project area needs for cost control in accordance with company procedures and client contractual requirements.Supervise the competent performance of cost control activities and timely issue of reports.Prepare, coordinate and supervise cost and scheduling presentations to company and client management as required.Supervise and be responsible for the development and accuracy of cost and schedule reports.Requierements: Education- BA degree, bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent years of experience.Experience- From 7 to 10 years experience working in cost controlling, project accounting or estimating functional roles.Skills- Business and technical skills Basic knowledge of Accounting ERP systems.
