Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Costing Accountant with strong experience in the FMCG sector to manage cost accounting functions, analyze production costs, and support financial planning. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate cost allocation, inventory valuation, and profitability analysis.Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain cost accounting records, including standard costs and variance analysisAnalyze raw material, labor, and overhead costs and recommend cost-saving opportunitiesMonitor and control production costs and identify inefficienciesPerform inventory valuation (RM, WIP, FG) and reconcile with GLConduct monthly closing activities related to cost accountingPrepare cost reports, margin analysis, and profitability reportsSupport budgeting and forecasting processesEnsure compliance with accounting standards and company policiesCollaborate with production, procurement, and supply chain teamsAssist in system updates cost-related modules Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field+3 years of experience in cost accounting (FMCG industry preferred)Strong knowledge of:Costing methods (Standard, FIFO, Weighted Average)Inventory managementVariance analysisAdvanced skills in Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
