The role oversees database administration, hardware infrastructure, application support, and field support teams to maintain seamless business operations. This position manages incident resolution, preventive maintenance, system monitoring, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring high service availability and adherence to SLAs.Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee the daily operations of the database, production support, application support, hardware, and field support teams to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of all IT systems. Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests while meeting established service level agreements (SLAs), conducting root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures to minimize recurring issues. Oversee database administration activities, including performance monitoring, backup and recovery, security, upgrades, and capacity planning. Manage the organization's IT infrastructure and hardware assets, ensuring proper installation, maintenance, lifecycle management, and vendor support. Lead the support and maintenance of business applications, coordinating software deployments, troubleshooting, upgrades, and collaboration with development teams for issue resolution. Supervise field support operations across all locations, ensuring efficient onsite technical support, equipment installation, and maintenance. Develop, implement, and maintain IT support policies, procedures, documentation, and best practices to improve operational efficiency and service quality. Monitor system performance, security, and compliance, ensuring adherence to organizational policies, business continuity, and disaster recovery requirements. Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, including maintenance contracts, software licensing, and hardware procurement. Prepare operational reports, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, and provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for support teams.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field. 8–12+ years of IT experience. 4–6 years in a managerial or team leadership role. Experience managing production support environments. Experience managing multiple technical teams. Experience supporting enterprise business applications. Experience managing databases and infrastructure.Strong leadership and people management. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Decision-making under pressure. Effective communication and stakeholder management.
