Design and Manufacturing Engineer / Prototyping Engineer

Zewail City of Science, Technology and Innovation is seeking to hire a Design and Manufacturing Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative engineering solutions that support the needs of the Egyptian academic and industrial sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the prototyping and product development process, including:Contributing to brainstorming sessions to generate and refine innovative ideas.Designing machine elements and mechanical components.Selecting and optimizing appropriate manufacturing processes.Inspecting and verifying received parts and components.Supporting assembly, installation, and integration of prototype systems.Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful system integration.Troubleshooting technical issues and diagnosing system faults during development and testing.Interact with clients to understand their requirements and technical needs.Coordinate with and guide technicians to ensure tasks are carried out effectively and according to specifications. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.Good understanding of machine design principles and conventional manufacturing processes.Proficiency in CAD and CAM systems.Familiarity with manufacturing concepts such as fits and tolerances.Background in control systems is considered an advantage.
