Design Section Head - Structural

Job Summary:The Design Head will lead and oversee all structural design activities for Madkour projects. The role ensures that all design deliverables meet technical, regulatory, and contractual requirements, supporting efficient and high-quality project execution.Key Responsibilities:Lead the structural design Department, ensuring all design works comply with project requirements, codes, and standards.Manage and coordinate design activities across multiple EPC projects.Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of design drawings, models, and technical documents.Coordinate effectively with electrical, mechanical, and architecural teams to ensure seamless design integration.Provide expert technical guidance, value engineering input, and constructability reviews throughout the project lifecycle.Supervise and manage external design consultants and ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality deliverables.Ensure all designs comply with Egyptian authority regulations and international design standards.Support tendering and proposal teams with technical input, scope definition, and design estimates.Oversee design quality assurance, document control, and compliance with EPC proceduresLead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of civil engineers and designers.QualificationBachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.Minimum 10 years of experience in design and engineering within EPC or consultancy environment.Proven experience leading structural design for Energy, and infrastructure project.Strong command of design software, and related tool.Deep understanding of EPC project workflows, design integration, and multidisciplinary coordination.Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.If interested, please send your updated resume in a PDF format to: jobs@madkour.com.eg mentioning the job title in the e-mail subject.
