JOB DETAILSJob Title: Design Senior EngineerSector/Business Line: Elsewedy Electric T&D.Scope: Transmission & Distribution.Department: EngineeringReporting Line: Design Section Head.Key Responsibilities:Engineering & DesignPrepare civil design drawings and calculation notes in accordance with project specifications and applicable standardsEnsure all designs are accurate, optimized, and aligned with the project requirementsPlanning & SchedulingDevelop and manage civil drawings time schedules for assigned tasks in coordination with Junior Engineers and the Section Head EngineerEnsure alignment with the overall project schedule and milestonesTechnical Support & Supervision:Provide technical support and guidance to Junior EngineerReview junior engineers’ work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with standardsCoordinationCoordinate withother engineering disciplines and departments to ensure proper integration of civil designs with all project activitiesEnsure all interdisciplinary coordination requirements are considered and implemented during designTechnical CompetenceStrong proficiency in civil design and engineering calculationsExperience with engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, SAFE, ETABS, or similar)Ability to interpret technical specifications and project requirementsQualification & Education:5–7 years of experience in civil design engineering, preferably within EPC, infrastructure, or industrial projects.Proven experience in preparing design drawings, calculations, and project coordination
