Hands-on experience managing the operational lifecycle of microservice architectures, including service discovery, load balancing, and cross-service observability, monitoring lag metrics, and optimizing throughput/latency for high-performance microservice communicationDeep proficiency in architecting and operationalizing high-performance Ingress and Edge traffic solutions. Extensive experience with Nginx, or Envoy-based controllers, utilizing modern Gateway API standards to manage complex L7 routing, load balancing, and SSL/TLS termination5+ years of hands-on experience architecting and managing production-grade container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Rancher). Must demonstrate a deep understanding of Kubernetes internals, including API machinery, etcd consistency, and CNI/CSI integration. Strong background in the deployment, tuning, and scaling of message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), with a focus on ensuring high availability, partition management, and data retention policiesSolid understanding of build and dependency management tools, including language-specific toolchains for PHP, Java, NodeJS, Python and .NETHands-on experience developing and maintaining Helm charts and Kustomize overlays, with a strict focus on configuration hygiene, modularity, and DRY principles for multi-environment application releasesExperience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki and ELK StackProven track record of architecting large-scale environments using Terraform, emphasizing strict state management hygiene, automated linting (TFLint/Checkov), and CI/CD integration. We value candidates who move beyond manual provisioning toward a fully automated, CAPI-driven infrastructure-as-software modelPractical experience with large-scale databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB, ElasticSearch covering performance, backup, and availabilityStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, with excellent communication abilities, ownership mindset, and a structured approach to understanding how complex systems interactWhat you’ll do:You won't just "install" tools; you will architect and evolve our global container orchestration strategy. You’ll design high-performance Kubernetes environments, with a relentless focus on manifest hygiene, modularity, and DRY principles. You will translate complex technical needs into scalable, hardened implementations that serve as the backbone for our distributed systemsDesign and build sophisticated, GitOps-driven deployment pipelines that treat infrastructure as a first-class citizen. You will define the standards for routine maintenance and upgrades, ensuring our microservices—including high-throughput message brokers like Kafka and RabbitMQ— remain stable under load. When systems fail, you’ll lead deep-dive troubleshooting and rootcause analysis to ensure high availability and prevent recurrenceEvaluate existing applications, platforms, and infrastructure, perform gap analysis to identify performance, scalability, and improvements in reliability. Recommend and implement the most practical and cost-effective solutionsAs a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be a part of a team that is setting the "Gold Standard" for DevOps practices. You’ll mentor junior engineers, lead cross-functional collaboration between Dev and Ops, and evangelize a culture of automation and observability.
