Job Title: Director of Business DevelopmentDepartment: Business Development, Hospitality DivisionReports to: Chief Executive OfficerLocation: Cairo, EgyptPosition OverviewThe Director of Business Development - Hospitality Division is responsible for driving the strategic growth of company hospitality portfolio through acquisitions, partnerships, and development opportunities and mainly through third party management model. The role will focus on identifying, evaluating, and executing transactions across hybrid management, leasehold, and freehold structures, with the objective of expanding the company’s presence in high-potential markets and maximizing asset value.Key ResponsibilitiesPortfolio Growth Strategy:Develop and implement a targeted growth strategy to expand company hospitality asset base in Egypt and selected international markets.Identify market trends, demand drivers, and competitive landscapes to guide investment priorities.Deal Sourcing & Execution:Source and evaluate acquisition, development, and partnership opportunities, including hybrid management, leasehold, and freehold models.Lead financial modeling, feasibility analysis, and business case preparation for proposed projects.Negotiate deal structures, term sheets, and definitive agreements in collaboration with legal and finance teams.Partnership Development:Expand company's network with local developers, individual hotel owners, andinstitutional asset holders.Identify underperforming or repositioning-ready hospitality assets through direct owner relationships.Build strategic alliances to secure acquisition, joint venture, or management opportunities.Leverage market intelligence and personal connections to uncover off-market deals.Transaction Management:Oversee due diligence, including legal, technical, and market assessments.Manage transaction timelines, stakeholder communication, and internal approvals to ensure efficient deal closure.Performance & Asset Value Maximization:Work closely with the departments concerned to ensure new developments and acquisitions meet targeted ROI and performance benchmarks.Monitor market performance to identify repositioning or value-add opportunities.Market Representation:Represent company at key hospitality and real estate investment conferences, networking events, and industry forums. Likewise, liaise closely with Government, Military and other governmental entities.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field (MBA preferred).Minimum 10 - 15 years of experience in hotel investment, acquisitions, or business development within the hospitality or real estate sector.Proven track record of Hotel Brand development or Hotel Development consultancy.Strong financial modeling, valuation, and negotiation skills.Established network within the hotel operator, investor, and development communities.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.Key CompetenciesStrategic thinking with strong commercial acumen.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiplehigh-value projects.Results-oriented,with a focus on execution and measurable outcomes.High level of professionalism and integrity.Performance MetricsNumber and value of hospitality assets added to the portfolio.ROI and profitability of executed projects.Strength and quality of strategic partnerships established.
