Position OverviewThe Vice President of Finance – “Owning Company” Hospitality Division is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership across the hospitality portfolio. The role oversees all aspects of financial planning, reporting, investment analysis, treasury, and performance management for owned and managed hospitality assets.The VP Finance acts as a strategic business partner to the executive leadership team, ensuring strong fiscal governance, optimized capital allocation, enhanced operational efficiency, and maximized investor returns. This role also supports portfolio growth through financial due diligence, feasibility analysis, and long-term value creation initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy & PlanningLead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes for the hospitality division.Develop robust financial frameworks and KPI dashboards to monitor performance across multiple operating models, including third-party management, leasehold, and freehold assets.Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CFO and executive leadership regarding investment priorities, profitability enhancement, and capital allocation.Support business expansion initiatives through financial scenario planning and strategic analysis.Operational Finance & Performance ManagementOversee the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements.Implement advanced financial reporting and “Systems of Intelligence” to improve operational transparency and real-time decision-making.Analyze hotel and asset-level P&L performance, identifying opportunities for cost optimization, margin enhancement, and revenue growth.Ensure accurate cash flow forecasting and liquidity management across the portfolio.Partner closely with operations and commercial teams to improve financial efficiency and asset performance.Investment & Capital ManagementCollaborate with the Business Development and Investment teams on financial due diligence, feasibility studies, and valuation analysis for acquisitions, developments, and strategic partnerships.Manage debt and equity financing activities to maintain an optimal capital structure and ensure sufficient liquidity.Lead CapEx planning, budgeting, and monitoring to preserve asset quality and competitive positioning.Evaluate investment returns and monitor ROI performance on strategic projects and developments.Governance, Risk & ComplianceEstablish and maintain strong internal controls, governance standards, and financial policies to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, regulatory authorities, and financial institutions.Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax regulations, corporate governance requirements, and international financial reporting standards.Identify and mitigate financial risks, including foreign exchange exposure, interest rate fluctuations, and market volatility.Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes, systems, and controls.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, ACCA, or MBA are highly preferred.Minimum of 10–15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including significant exposure within hospitality, hotel ownership groups, or real estate investment sectors.Strong experience managing multi-unit hospitality finance operations and corporate-level financial strategy.Proven expertise in financial modeling, investment analysis, valuation methodologies, and treasury management.Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.Strong understanding of Egyptian tax laws, regulatory requirements, and IFRS standards.Experience working within complex ownership structures and asset management environments is preferred.
