DescriptionEnvision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Director of Production & Operations for one of our partners, a global leader in Information Technology Services & Consulting!Job Summary:The Director of Production & Operations leads, coordinates, and optimizes all production and operations activities within a location, ensuring operational efficiency, project delivery excellence, and alignment with company standards. This role plays a pivotal part in the Global Leadership Team, serving as a cultural and operational anchor for both local execution and global collaboration.Responsibilities:Production & Operations OversightOverall local responsibility for managing and overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day production and the operations processesLead on overall production strategy and liaise with the Production Manager on daily and weekly production issueLead the monthly Production meetingsSupervise the Operations and the Production ManagersRegularly conduct performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching, and setting challenging KPIs that to increase volumes of businessCoach employees, conduct disciplinary meetings where necessary with support from HR and the CEO and COOOwns the local site ISMSFinance & BudgetingWork closely with the Finance support team to ensure monthly invoicing and finance deadlines are respected and met.Work with the SLT regarding the annual Budget preparation to collate annual budget costs for CAPEX and OPEXProduce and lead on the MBR’s supported and in collaboration with the Global Department Heads. Ensure your business unit actuals and production revenue forecasts are sharedSales & Client RelationsYou will work closely with the Global Head of Sales and the Sales Operations Manager. Follow the Opportunity phase company process fully and work closely with the SOM and the Account manager as the jobs are handed over to productionKeep in regular contact with the Production Manager and Customer Services Representatives regarding their management of the clients, ensuring all aspects of processed projects are carried out in an innovative, profitable and efficient manner, while taking any feedback on board to improve service and efficiencyWork closely with the Global Head of Sales to agree CSR’s cadence of touch points and quarterly business reviews with customers in productionWork closely with the other DPOs, the SOM, the commercial team and the COO to help develop a full set of presales production policiesSystems, Data & Process ManagementWork with the global HSDs; ORKA – to OWN the Support Department Planning processes using JIRA Work Management – (Service)Working with the Business Systems analyst and using ORKA data to provide continual analysis on operator performance as well as machine performance.Leadership & CultureShow leadership regarding company culture and mentor accordingly to establish a positive attitude within the business unitRequirements:Minimum education: University degree, Bachelor or equivalentHighly experienced in management of projects (technology, ICT, AV…) and teamsPreferred: Experience working in a broadcaster, digitization facility, library/archive, or ICT preservation projectExperience coordinating monthly invoicing and financial reporting with finance supportExperience overseeing facilities operations, upgrades, and budget forecasting (capex/opex)Proven leadership in managing both Production and Operations teams, including performance reviews and KPI settingBackground in working with CRM, workflow, or reporting systems (e.g., JIRA, ORKA, Excel, project dashboards)Previous involvement in production meetings, MBR preparation, and business reviewsFamiliarity with ISMS and site compliance ownership.Professional CompetenciesStrong organizational, planning, and coordination skillsWorking knowledge of audio/video/film technologiesSkilled in use of Excel, project reporting tools (e.g., Teamwork, JIRA), and dashboardsAbility to analyze operator and machine performance data (e.g., ORKA)Capable of owning and improving support department planning workflows.Leadership & ManagementAble to coach, mentor, and supervise both Production and Operations ManagersSkilled in managing performance through regular reviews, feedback, and KPI settingCan lead disciplinary procedures, when necessary, with HR and executive supportLeads on strategy and policy development for production and pre-sales processesSocial & Interpersonal CompetenciesStrong interpersonal and negotiation skillsExcellent communicator (verbal and written); effective with both clients and internal stakeholdersPromotes teamwork and cross-departmental cooperation (Sales, CSR, SOM, SLT)Service-focused mindset and customer-centric approachEngagement & MindsetDemonstrates personal responsibility and ownershipHighly proactive and self-startingMaintains rigor and precision in all operational mattersCommitted to continuous improvement and innovation.
