TechOPS Engineer

DescriptionEnvision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a TechOPS Engineer for one of our partners, a global leader in Information Technology Services & Consulting!Job Summary:The TechOPS Engineer plays a key role in ensuring operational continuity and technical excellence across all sites. As part of the Global Technical Operations team, this role supports Production and Operations by testing and deploying new workflows (ORKA and non-ORKA), configuring project-specific technical setups, and coordinating both on-site and off-site deployments.Responsibilities:Manage support issue resolution in the order of production priorities.Investigate and determine causes of issues and failures agnostic of their potential originWork with all HSDs and PM and OM to Document implemented solutions.Interface with the ORKA team to evaluate new feature request suggestions.Work with the Sales Operations Managers to assist with Data collection for sales for new opportunities.Work closely and collaborate with the Head of Production systems and the departmentPerform new workflow onboarding and testing for production.Work with Production Systems and the other HSDs on providing new production systems.Keep on top of JIRA work management work board, in generalTest and validate and handover new and modified workflows to production.Assist ORKA with testing WFs in the Dev environment.Help train the ORKA team with Baseband AV systems.First line remote TechOps assistance for the customer partners at Off – Site jobs.Work with the Global and local QA testing team to ensure test patterns and frequencies are fit for purpose.General cover for the UK infrastructure engineer.Requirements:Proven hands-on experience in media post-production or technical support within audiovisual environmentsFamiliarity with Microsoft environments and productivity tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and iterative project support frameworksExperience in troubleshooting and improving AV workflows in operational settingsPreferred: Experience with video editing software and audiovisual file management systemsCompetencies:Technical & Analytical:Strong understanding of AV post-production environments and technical workflows.Skilled in diagnosing production issues and identifying technical root causes.Capable of designing, testing, and refining workflows in collaboration with operational teams.Familiar with testing and deployment protocols across multi-site environments.Organizational & Planning:Able to coordinate efficiently with Production and Operations teams.Skilled in planning workflow adjustments while minimizing production disruption.Methodical in executing deployment and configuration tasks.Communication & Collaboration:Clear and effective communicator across diverse and cross-cultural teams.Builds strong working relationships with operators, supervisors, and support functions.Understands the importance of structured reporting and feedback.Health & Safety:Respects safety procedures when working on or around technical equipment.Promotes best practices in equipment handling and site-specific safety protocols.
