Team members join a company committed to dependable power solutions and continuous improvement in mission-critical environments.Role Description The Electrical Data Center & Critical Power Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza. This role is responsible for designing, reviewing, and maintaining electrical systems for data centers and other critical power environments, including power distribution, backup power, and protection systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing load calculations, developing single-line diagrams, preparing technical specifications, and overseeing installation and commissioning activities. The engineer will monitor system performance, troubleshoot electrical issues, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure high availability and reliability. Collaboration with project managers, vendors, and clients is required to deliver compliant, efficient, and safe power solutions aligned with UniPower standards and industry best practices.Qualifications Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, with applied experience in Power Engineering and Electric Power systems.Proficiency in Power Systems analysis and design, including protection coordination, fault analysis, and load flow studies.Experience in Power Generation and distribution for data centers or other mission-critical facilities.Ability to interpret and develop electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical documentation.Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NFPA where applicable).Hands-on experience with UPS systems, generators, switchgear, PDUs, and related critical power equipment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on reliability and risk reduction.Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering and project teams.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field; advanced certifications in power or data center engineering are an advantage.Prior experience in data center or critical infrastructure projects is highly beneficial.
