We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical design for building and infrastructure projects. The candidate will work under the Electrical Design Manager and will be responsible for designing and reviewing LV, MV, ELV, and low current systems in compliance with international standards and project requirements. The role requires strong expertise in Revit MEP, load calculations, voltage drop, and current studies , along with coordination across multidisciplinary teams. 🛠️ Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of electrical systems (LV, MV, ELV) from concept through IFC stage. Prepare and review: Load calculations Voltage drop calculations Short circuit analysis Cable sizing and selection Panel schedules (MDB, SMDB, DB) Design electrical distribution systems including: Power distribution networks Lighting systems Earthing and lightning protection systems Design and coordinate ELV systems, including: Fire alarm systems CCTV and security systems Access control systems Data and structured cabling networks BMS systems Develop detailed shop drawings and IFC drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP . Perform clash detection and coordination using BIM tools (Revit / Navisworks) . Ensure all designs comply with international standards (IEC, NEC, BS, NFPA). Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, and civil disciplines. Review vendor drawings, material submittals, and technical proposals. Provide technical support to site teams during execution and commissioning phases. Participate in technical meetings with consultants, clients, and contractors. Support value engineering and cost optimization studies. 💻 Technical Skills Required Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP Strong experience in AutoCAD Electrical Knowledge of electrical calculation tools (e.g., ETAP / Ecodial / Dialux) Strong understanding of: LV power systems MV systems (preferred) ELV systems Electrical protection and coordination studies Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required) Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical design Experience in large-scale projects (commercial, residential, infrastructure, healthcare, etc.) Familiarity with international codes and standards (IEC, NFPA, BS, NEC) 🤝 Soft Skills Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities Excellent communication and coordination skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Attention to detail and design accuracy
