Job Purpose:The Electrical Maintenance Engineer has a critical role in helping minimize downtime and failure rates and maximize equipment productivity ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery. This role involves managing routine and preventive maintenance, overseeing upgrades, troubleshooting electrical issues, reducing downtime, and improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Additionally, he plays a key role in the installation and commissioning of new equipment while ensuring maintenance costs are controlled and aligned with operational goals.Key Accountabilities:Ensure electrical maintenance discipline 24/7 three shifts by supervising and executing daily electrical maintenance activities.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical breakdowns and issues as quickly as possible to minimize production downtime.Perform regular inspections and testing of electrical systems, components, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.Schedule, implement, and maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all electrical systems and equipment including power distribution, motors, drives, and PLC systems.Monitor the performance of electrical machinery and plan predictive maintenance to prevent unscheduled breakdowns.Optimize overall maintenance costs & OEE.Document the root cause of equipment failures and recommend preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.Lead and participate in electrical upgrade and improvement projects, including the installation of new electrical systems and machinery.Contribute and drive continuous improvement of maintenance resources “Manpower, Machine & Materials”.Estimate manpower requirements, maintenance times, material requirements, and relative costs to provide data for operational decisionsKeep a record of all stock and supplies, including the company’s electrical equipmentWorking in collaboration with the Production, Quality, and Operations teams to formulate the best cost-effective manufacturing processEnsure that all electrical gadgets and instruments are switched off during work dailyEnsures application of maintenance systems accurately, timely data entry and reporting.Participates in technical audits and compliance assessments and follows up on closure of remedial action plans.Provide technical training from time to time to subordinates to develop their skills.Prepare a daily maintenance report to be approved by the maintenance manager.Qualification & Education:Education: B.Sc. of Electrical EngineeringYears of Experience: 1-3 Years.Language: Arabic / EnglishComputer skills: Microsoft office
