Engineering Specialist – Manufacturing

🚨 Hiring: Process Engineer 🚨📍 Location: 6th of October City, Egypt🏭 Industry: Multinational FMCG / Home & Personal Care ManufacturingWe are hiring a Process Engineer for a leading multinational manufacturer in the FMCG / chemical industry.🔹 Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical or relevant discipline preferred)3–5 years of experience in a similar role within FMCG, chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industriesStrong experience in mixing lines / liquid or chemical manufacturing processesExperience in production optimization, waste reduction, and scrap minimizationSAP experience is preferableKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools is a plusStrong understanding of production processes, SOPs, and quality systemsExperience in BMR (Batch Manufacturing Records) and BPD documentationFamiliarity with HACCP and PFMEA methodologies is preferredStrong awareness of HSE standards and safety compliance in manufacturing environmentsAbility to work with cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, R&D, NPD/EPD)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skillsGood English communication skills (written & spoken)Strong attention to detail and discipline in documentation and complianceResidents of 6th of October or Giza are preferred🔹 Responsibilities:Reduce production waste, scrap, and material losses across operationsMonitor daily production reports and performance indicatorsEnsure safe operations and immediately report unsafe acts/conditionsOversee mixing and filling operations to meet production plans and quality standardsDevelop and maintain SOPs, WIs, and OPLs for operatorsImprove production processes and propose technology enhancementsParticipate in HACCP, PFMEA, and risk assessmentsPrepare and review BMR and BPD documentationWork closely with Quality, NPD, and EPD teams for new and existing productsEnsure closure of NCRs and internal audit actions on timeTrain operators on production procedures and batch documentationConduct safety tours, inspections, and incident investigationsEnsure strict compliance with hygiene, PPE, and product safety standardsSupport continuous improvement initiatives using Lean / Six Sigma toolsUse data (Gantt charts, reports) to identify gaps and improve efficiency
