English Social Studies Teacher

Role DescriptionWe are hiring for the next academic year 2026-2027!This is a full-time on-site role for an English Social Studies Teacher located in Alexandria, Egypt. The primary responsibilities include preparing and delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons on Social Studies and World History to middle and high school students. The teacher will develop and implement curriculum plans, assess student progress, and foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, participation, and collaboration. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with colleagues, communicating with parents, and contributing to school-wide professional development initiatives. QualificationsExpertise in Social Studies and World HistoryProficient in Lesson Planning and Curriculum DevelopmentExperience teaching Middle School and secondary-level studentsAbility to create interactive and engaging classroom experiencesStrong communication and collaboration skillsBachelor’s degree in Education, History, Social Sciences, or a related field required.Teaching certification or licensure appropriate to the subject and grade levelPrevious experience in international or American curriculum schools is highly desirableDemonstrated commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
