Our research and development team works on cutting-edge technologies such as 4K, high dynamic range (Dolby Vision, HDR10+), artificial intelligence and machine learning, software automation and our proprietary end-to-end operating platform branded as pHelix.RequirementsResponsible for the creation of English closed captions, SDH, English templates, Transcripts, and dialogue list scriptsAnnotate key English phrases to high-quality translation productsMaintain quality standards for accuracy and speedWork specified on-call schedule, in addition to a regular schedulePerform different checks for subtitle files to make sure they match company and client requirements in terms of technical specs, sync with video/audio, and style guide rulesAbide by security policies and protect information assets entrusted to youMust be punctual, dependable, and flexible and possess a team attitude and willingness to adapt to the constant changes in programming and industryParticipate in training and development activities in the localization department within the scope of English ServicesAbility to quickly and efficiently proofread subtitled assets and effectively report bugsReport issues related to workflow, tools, or procedures and collaboratively work on suggesting solutions and developing ideasOther duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's Degree, preferably in English, linguistics, and language study majors and/or Entertainment and Media1-2 years of experience and/or education in localization (subtitling or dubbing)Some experience in digital media, entertainment, audio or video editing or translationAbility to perform under pressure with changing priorities and tight deadlines, and to shift between different client requirements and style guidesKnowledge of professional scripting, subtitling, and audio software highly desirableComfortable with computers, Microsoft Office and using different softwareExcellent reading skills, spelling/vocabulary, and grammarAbility to handle multiple tasks while focusing on a high amount of attention to detailAbility to work on night/overnight/weekend/rotational shiftHighly focused and not easily distractedHigh sense of ownership and commitmentWhy should you join us?At Pixelogic, we pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and engaging environment.
