We are looking for a highly motivated leader to build, expand, and shape our Environmental Services Division, working closely with our Commercial Strategy Leader for Environmental & Life Safety to capture market share.🔹 The RoleAs the Environmental Services & Sustainability Lead, you will act as the technical authority and primary driver for our environmental consulting practice. You will independently lead complex projects, develop new service offerings, and ensure our solutions meet stringent Saudi Arabian regulations (including NCEC) and international best practices.Key Responsibilities:Technical Leadership & Delivery: Lead and execute complex environmental studies, EIAs, and audits for heavy industry, ensuring absolute technical rigor and operational excellence.Service Development: Architect and expand our service portfolio across environmental compliance, ESG, and carbon management.Client Engagement: Act as the trusted advisor for industrial clients, translating complex regulatory requirements into actionable compliance strategies.Business Growth Support: Collaborate on proposal preparation, competitive bidding, and margin-conscious project scoping.Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain high standards for all technical reporting and client deliverables.Team Mentoring: Build and upskill a high-performing technical team as the division scales.🔹 Mandatory Technical ExpertiseYou must bring 8+ years of environmental consulting experience, specifically supporting Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Refineries, Mining, Utilities, and Infrastructure developments.Core competencies required:Environmental Studies: Deep expertise in EIA, Screening & Scoping Studies, Category 1-3 Environmental Studies, ESIA, and Environmental Baseline Studies.Auditing & Due Diligence: Leading Regulatory Compliance Audits, EMS Audits, Operational Environmental Audits, and Industrial Environmental Compliance Reviews.Environmental Management: Designing and implementing Environmental Permitting, Waste & Air Emissions Management, Water/Wastewater Compliance, and Environmental Monitoring Programs.Sustainability & ESG: Developing ESG Frameworks, Sustainability Reporting (GRI), SDG Alignment, and Corporate Sustainability Programs.🔹 Preferred Additional ExpertiseCandidates bringing experience in our expansion areas will be highly prioritized:Carbon & Climate: Carbon Footprint Assessment, Net Zero Roadmaps, Climate Risk Assessments, and Decarbonization Strategies.Green Buildings: LEED, EDGE, and Mostadam assessments, Certification Management, and Energy Optimization.Integrated Management Systems (IMS): ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 45001, and ISO 26000 readiness and development.Green Certification: Gap assessments and Corrective Action Planning for local and international sustainability frameworks.🔹 What Success Looks LikeFirst 90 Days: Take ownership of ongoing environmental projects, establish a baseline for deliverable quality, and finalize the standard operating procedures for EIAs and compliance audits.First 6 Months: Successfully lead major client engagements independently, map out the strategic expansion of our Sustainability/ESG service lines, and secure local regulatory approvals (e.g., NCEC) seamlessly.
