Job PurposeThe Civil Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting the execution of engineering and capital projects while ensuring the effective maintenance and management of company facilities and infrastructure. The role is accountable for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards, while maintaining the functionality, reliability, and operational readiness of company facilities.Key Accountabilities1. Project Planning & ExecutionSupport the development of project scopes, technical specifications, budgets, timelines, and execution plans.Review engineering drawings, layouts, BOQs, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.Coordinate project activities with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.Monitor project progress against approved schedules and ensure timely completion of project milestones.Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of equipment, systems, and infrastructure works.Identify project risks and recommend corrective actions to ensure successful project delivery.Ensure all project activities comply with company engineering standards, quality requirements, and HSE regulations.2. Facility Maintenance & Infrastructure ManagementOversee the maintenance and upkeep of company buildings, infrastructure, and facility assets, including civil works, painting, finishing, and general building maintenance.Monitor the overall condition of facilities and infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and aesthetic standards.Develop recommendations for renovation, refurbishment, and facility improvement initiatives.Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive maintenance programs for facilities and infrastructure assets.Support the continuous improvement of facility reliability and operational performance.3. Technical Supervision & Contractor ManagementSupervise technicians and maintenance personnel responsible for plumbing, welding, civil works, and general maintenance activities.Ensure timely execution of corrective and preventive maintenance activities to minimize operational disruptions.Provide technical guidance, coaching, and day-to-day support to maintenance teams.Manage contractor activities and monitor work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to contractual requirements.Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with engineering specifications, company standards, and safety regulations.4. Budget Management & ReportingSupport the preparation, monitoring, and control of Capital Expenditure (CapEx) budgets for engineering and facility projects.Monitor project costs and resource utilization to ensure budget adherence.Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, contractor evaluations, and project documentation.Prepare periodic reports highlighting project status, maintenance activities, budget performance, risks, and key accomplishments.Analyze maintenance and project data to identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost optimization.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.2–5 years of experience in project engineering, facilities engineering, maintenance engineering, or infrastructure projects.Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, technical specifications, preventive maintenance, and project management principles.Good understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and engineering best practices.
