Job SummaryThe opportunity Hitachi Energy is looking for a Factory CI Manager to join our Transformers team in Sharkia, Cairo. In this role, you will Implement the ITM strategy at the factory level by developing and executing a factory CI roadmap. Lead CI projects, ensure compliance with governance standards, and drive performance management. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, coach employees on Lean and Lean Six Sigma (L6S) methods and manage the factory ITM team to deliver measurable business impact across the extended Factory Value Chain.How You’ll Make An ImpactITM Strategy and RoadmapExecute the BU and Hub ITM strategy at the factory level through a site-specific CI roadmap.Partner with cross-functional teams to implement Strategy Deployment, Obeya, Factory Standard Work, and Daily Management systems.Facilitate development of objectives, KPIs, action plans, and improvement funnels.CI Projects and ProgramsLead cost reduction, productivity, and Kaizen initiatives to achieve business targets.Support the use of RELEX for tracking improvement projects and performance.Drive sustainable results through structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies.ITM Framework and ComplianceEnsure compliance with ITM governance standards, internal controls, and operational requirements.Integrate HSE and Quality Management systems into the ITM framework.Conduct maturity assessments and implement actions to improve process adherence and operational excellence.Customer Focus / Voice of the CustomerIncorporate customer feedback into improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities.Support actions that enhance customer satisfaction and operational performance.Performance ManagementDrive improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost metrics.Lead cost-out projects, Kaizen events, and KPI management using ITM tools and RELEX reporting.Foster employee ownership and engagement in performance improvement initiatives.CI CultureChampion a culture of continuous improvement through Lean and ITM methodologies, including 5S, TPM, Value Stream Mapping, Daily Management, and Kaizen.Promote coaching, accountability, employee engagement, and organizational capability development.Lead ITM implementation and maturity advancement across the factory.Savings and Benefits Analysis (ROI)Track, calculate, and report savings and benefits from CI initiatives and Kaizen events.Ensure improvement activities align with business objectives and deliver measurable financial impact.CI TrainingBuild organizational CI capability through training, coaching, and implementation of ITM and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.Serve as a subject matter expert on ITM tools, processes, and best practices.People Leadership and DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop the factory ITM team.Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning to ensure effective adoption of ITM practices.Your BackgroundBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Operational Excellence roles, including at least 2 years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.Black Belt-level expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to develop teams and build Continuous Improvement capabilities.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with KPI management, ROI analysis, and root cause problem-solving.Effective communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead workshops and engage stakeholders across all levels of the organization.Publication date : 2026-07-10
