JOB PURPOSE: The job holder is responsible for providing training, technical and construction support to customers, projects and field service personnel in the installation, testing, and repair of fiberglass products. Ensure that the work will be completed in line with the Contract parameters and standard FPI quality requirements. This position may require frequent travel to customer sites. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESField Service Know-How/ Planning and Control of Site Work Activities/ Control of Tools and Equipment’s/ Asset Inventories:•Provide technical support to customers and field service personnel in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiberglass manufacturing equipment • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with equipment and develop solutions to address them • Work with customers and field service personnel to provide training on the proper use and maintenance of equipment • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and field service personnel • Communicate effectively with customers, field service personnel, and internal teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues • Maintain accurate records of service calls and equipment maintenance • Participate in the development and implementation of new products and processes • Continuously improve technical knowledge and skills related to fiberglass manufacturing equipment and processesPlanning and Control of Site Work Activities: Implement and control site execution to meet schedules on time • Allocate sufficient manpower to ensure all tasks meet quality and productivity requirements • Coordinate activities so outputs meet budget requirements and quality standard Hand over project by following the closure process based on set targets and schedule • Ensure that qualified manpower is trained and allocated effectively on the sites for more efficient and high-quality results • Properly hand over the project to clients as per the closing procedureCosting and Contract Scope/Reviews •Ensure that the segregation of scope as per contract is noted by all parties for a smooth workflow • Verify & review the company’s approved matrix to ensure proper arrangement of manpower & material for the execution of the project • Initiate an invoice with the client for completed work and check that payments are received as per contract terms and conditions • Raise issues regarding clause conflicts to provide solutions prior to project execution •Provide installation work estimates/ quotations as per the company’s standards • Define scope of work and related conditions • Ensure contract amounts are in line with the costs offered • Ensure contract clausesDocumentation & Records•Have all site reports filled in according to the Site Quality Plan • Ensure all activities are documented by site Supervisors, Site QC and Site HSE personnel to meet company and audit requirements • Produce monthly project status for management review • Provide all required documentation for client’s invoice • Generate Specific Method Statements and Site Quality Plans including ITP’s • Ensure all site reports are being filled/carried out asper the Site Quality Plan and provide site status reports on a regular basisControl of Tools and Equipment/ Asset Inventories•Ensure all tools are returned in good condition after completion of the assigned project • Track vehicle usage and schedule regular maintenance for long life performance of the vehicle • Monitor all company’s tools & vehicles to be returned to the company in good condition for future usageDirection and motivation of subordinates •Train and motivate employees to perform their duties to the required standards • Organize and supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all the work within a specific area is carried out in an efficient manner • Monitor work performance based on H&S Standards and client requirements HSE • Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions • Use personal protective equipment and safety gear when performing assigned tasks • Keep operational areas clean and well organized to prevent incidents and accidents • Report on unsafe acts, incidents or safety violations • Develop a safety culture by ensuring all staff comply with HSE policies and procedures • Participate in QHSE audits, incident reporting and review of QHSE performance as required Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fieldPreferred Experience: 1-3 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiberglass manufacturing equipmentJob-Specific Skills: Strong technical knowledge of fiberglass manufacturing processes and equipment Knowledge of piping systems related to fiberglass Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with equipment Core Competencies: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong customer service skills and ability to develop and maintain positive customer relationships Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites as needed
