Flexcube Technical SME / Senior Technical Consultant

About the Role:We are looking for a highly skilled FLEXCUBE Technical Expert with extensive development and implementation experience. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of the FLEXCUBE architecture and demonstrate a proven track record of successful FLEXCUBE upgrades and customizations.Key Responsibilities:Technical Development & Customization:Lead technical design and development activities for FLEXCUBE implementations and upgrades Develop and execute Technical Design Specifications and programs Handle complex customizations using RAD Tool, extending FLEXCUBE functionality to meet business requirements Perform back-end program development and debugging across various FLEXCUBE modules Manage version control of sources and technical documentation .Strong Java programming skills.Strong Knowledge of Linux and Unix.Upgrade & Migration:Provide technical expertise during migration activities, including data reconciliation between old and new versions Prepare technical SQL scripts for data migration validation and integrity checks Conduct unit testing of base functionalities, custom developments, and interfaces Perform End of Day (EOD) operations testing to ensure processing stability Integration & Architecture:Design and implement integration solutions using Generic Interface (GI) module Work with Gateway Architecture to integrate FLEXCUBE with external systems.Review integration/design documentation and ensure adherence to technical architecture standards Monitor applications to ensure adequate system resources and production standards Issue Resolution & Support:Actively participate in issue resolution, guiding and assisting development team members Perform root cause analysis (RCA) following production disruptions Collaborate with Oracle support, documenting and tracking issues through to resolution Prepare technical documentation for testing, migration, and implementation activities Required Qualifications & Skills:Technical Expertise:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical discipline 5-10+ years of strong technical and functional experience in FLEXCUBE (Versions 14 and above) Minimum 4 years of experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development Experience with FLEXCUBE back-end program development and debugging Strong knowledge of FLEXCUBE modules: Core, CASA, Consumer Lending, General Ledger, Accounting, Generic Interfaces, Gateway Architecture Domain Experience:Full life cycle experience of multiple FLEXCUBE implementations (Version 12 and above) Experience with FLEXCUBE upgrade projects, particularly Version 14.x Hands-on experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE 14.x implementation and support Familiarity with OBM , Switch interface and OBO module is advantageous.Professional Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Superior organisational and time management abilities Proven ability to write comprehensive technical and operational documentation Strong analytical approach to solution design and problem-solving Experience working in cross-functional teams with Product Owners, developers, and vendors
