Midas offers a broad range of products and services, including home and office furniture retail, commercial tenders, design-and-build solutions, and interior design consultation.Role Description The Freight Forwarder – Smart Village will manage and coordinate daily freight forwarding activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods to and from Midas Furniture’s locations and partners. This full-time, on-site role based in Giza involves organizing export shipments, preparing documentation, tracking freight transportation, and liaising with carriers, customs agents, and internal stakeholders. The role includes responding to customer and internal inquiries, resolving shipment issues, and maintaining accurate records in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Freight Forwarder will collaborate with logistics, procurement, and showroom teams to optimize delivery schedules, support inventory planning, and uphold service quality standards.Qualifications Demonstrated experience in Freight Forwarding and Forwarding operations, including shipment planning and coordination.Knowledge of Export procedures and documentation, with familiarity in international trade and customs regulations.Background in Freight Transportation, including working with carriers, route planning, and cost optimization.Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain professional communication.Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation; furniture or retail industry exposure is an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Giza, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.Proficiency in basic computer applications and logistics systems; experience with ERP or TMS is a plus.Diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
