Full Stack Team Lead

We're looking for a Tech Lead who can own the full stack — from architecting the Laravel backend and APIs, to shipping polished Next.js web experiences and React Native mobile apps. You'll be the most senior engineer on the team, setting standards, mentoring junior developers, and working directly with the founders to shape the product from the ground up.Architect and lead development of backend systems using Laravel, ensuring scalability, security, and performanceBuild and maintain RESTful APIs consumed by web and mobile clientsDevelop frontend features using Next.js and React, maintaining high performance and SEO standardsBuild and ship cross-platform mobile features using React Native (iOS & Android)Lead, mentor, and code-review a small team of frontend and backend engineersOwn the product architecture end-to-end — from database schema to deployment pipelineCollaborate directly with founders on roadmap, technical strategy, and hiring decisionsEstablish engineering best practices: code standards, testing, CI/CD, documentationMake technology decisions and trade-offs with business context in mind 6+ years of professional software development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior roleDeep expertise in Laravel — you know it inside out, not just basic CRUDStrong Next.js and React skills with a portfolio of production deploymentsHands-on React Native experience with at least one app shipped to App Store or Google PlayProven experience leading a development team: code reviews, architecture decisions, mentoringExperience building a product from scratch — greenfield projects, not just feature workStrong understanding of system design, API security, authentication (JWT/OAuth), and performanceComfortable working asynchronously in a remote-first, fast-moving startup environmentClear written and spoken English — you'll communicate directly with founders daily
