Job DescriptionHilton Alexandria Green Plaza is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused GC&E Coordinator to support the Groups, Conferences & Events department. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating group bookings, meetings, conferences, and special events, ensuring seamless communication between clients and hotel departments while delivering exceptional guest experiences in line with Hilton standards.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate all administrative activities related to group, conference, and event bookings.Act as the primary point of contact for clients from inquiry stage through event completion.Prepare proposals, contracts, banquet event orders (BEOs), and other event-related documentation.Maintain accurate records of bookings, room blocks, event requirements, and client communications.Liaise with Sales, Operations, Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure successful event execution.Conduct site inspections and support clients with event planning requirements.Monitor event timelines and ensure all departments are informed of client expectations and special requests.Assist in achieving departmental revenue targets through effective coordination and upselling opportunities.Follow Hilton brand standards and company policies in all interactions and processes.Prepare reports and maintain databases related to group and event business.Support the GC&E team with administrative duties and departmental projects as required.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.Previous experience in hospitality, sales coordination, event coordination, or customer service is preferred.Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.Knowledge of hotel systems .Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
