Regular communication with cross-functional teams, tracking key performance metrics, and addressing challenges to ensure alignment with organizational goals are key responsibilities of this role.Position OverviewThe Manufacturing PMO is a senior Manufacturing role responsible for driving project management excellence across all Kline manufacturing and fulfillment facilities globally, including Portugal, Tijuana, Florida, and CFZ. Reporting directly to the VP of Manufacturing, this individual will serve as the central coordination point for all facility-level and cross-functional manufacturing projects, ensuring alignment, accountability, and delivery against strategic and operational objectives.MANDATORY REQUIREMENT — Lean & Six Sigma Black Belt + PMP All applicants must hold a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) and demonstrate a proven, quantifiable track record in cost-saving and process improvement projects within a manufacturing environment. Applications without this qualification will not be considered.Position DetailsJob Title: Manufacturing PMO — Global OperationsDivision: ManufacturingReports To: VP of ManufacturingDirect Supervision: PMO activity across all Kline manufacturing facilitiesTravel Requirement: Frequent international travel requiredKey Responsibilities:Project Governance & Portfolio Management:•Establish and maintain the Manufacturing PMO framework, governance model, and standard operating procedures across all facilities.•Own the full project portfolio across Kline's manufacturing network, ensuring visibility, prioritization, and alignment with business objectives.•Drive end-to-end project lifecycle management from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.•Develop and maintain consolidated project dashboards, milestone trackers, and executive-level status reporting.Cross-Facility Coordination:•Act as the primary interface between the VP of Manufacturing and all plant heads and operational leads across global facilities.•Coordinate and align project activities across Portugal, Tijuana, Florida, and CFZ, identifying dependencies, risks, and resource conflicts.•Facilitate regular cross-facility project reviews, ensuring issues are escalated appropriately and resolutions are tracked.•Support onboarding of new facilities, new clients and operational expansions from a project management standpoint.Capital & Infrastructure Projects:•Lead project management of capital expenditure projects including equipment installations, production line expansions, and facility upgrades.•Manage complex international logistics, customs clearance, and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing equipment and materials.Lean, Six Sigma & Continuous Improvement:•Lead and drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives across all Kline facilities, applying Black Belt methodology to eliminate waste, reduce variation, and improve process capability.•Identify, scope, and deliver cost-saving projects with measurable financial impact; maintain a live savings tracker reported to VP of Manufacturing.•Champion a culture of continuous improvement (CI) across the manufacturing network, coaching facility teams on Lean tools and DMAIC methodology.•Conduct process audits and value stream mapping (VSM) exercises to identify improvement opportunities and drive implementation.•Establish and monitor key CI KPIs including cost savings delivered (cumulative and annual), cycle time reduction, OEE improvement, scrap/rework reduction, and yield gains.Risk, Quality & Compliance:•Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks across the manufacturing network; maintain a live risk register.•Ensure manufacturing projects comply with relevant regulatory, quality, and safety standards (including FDA, ISO, and regional requirements).•Coordinate with quality and compliance teams to embed standards into project delivery processes.Reporting & Communication•Prepare concise, accurate, and actionable project reports for the VP of Manufacturing and senior leadership.•Drive clear communication across multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams spanning multiple time zones.•Produce and maintain formal documentation including MOMs, project charters, risk logs, and status updates. Required QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical (mandatory).MBA is a plus.PMP (Project Management Professional) certification strongly preferredCertified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) ExperienceMinimum 8+ years of progressive experience in project management within a manufacturing environment.Proven track record managing complex, multi-site, and multi-disciplinary manufacturing projects at a senior level.Demonstrated history of delivering Lean Six Sigma Black Belt projects with quantifiable, documented cost savings — candidates must be prepared to present project portfolio at interview.Experience operating within global or multinational manufacturing organizations with facilities across multiple regions.Hands-on experience with capital project execution, production line installations, and facility-level operational improvements.Familiarity with regulated manufacturing environments (medical devices, pharma, aerospace, or similar) is a strong advantage.Technical SkillsStrong command of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet or equivalent).Deep expertise in Lean tools: Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, SMED, TPM, Poka-Yoke, and visual management.Advanced Six Sigma skills: DMAIC, DFSS, DOE, SPC, MSA, capability analysis, and Minitab or equivalent statistical software.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, production layouts, and technical specifications.Data-driven approach with the ability to build and maintain KPI dashboards and reporting frameworks.Key Competencies & Personal AttributesGlobal Mindset, ability to operate effectively across cultures, geographies, and time zones without losing focus or momentum.Cost-Savings Orientation, measurable track record of translating CI projects into bottom-line financial impact; must be able to quantify contributions.High Accountability, ownership mentality with a bias toward action and results.Structured Thinker, ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with discipline, clarity, and attention to detail.Resilience & Adaptability, comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, and geographically distributed manufacturing environment.
