Job Summary :The Group Parts Demand Planning Specialist plays a critical role in driving accurate forecasting, inventory governance, and working capital optimization across all business units. This role supports the execution of the Group’s Strategic Inventory Governance (SIG) framework by improving demand visibility, enforcing disciplined ordering practices, and ensuring alignment across systems, stakeholders, and operational plans.The position requires strong analytical thinking, data-driven decision-making, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance forecast accuracy, inventory health, and overall supply chain efficiencyJob Description : Demand Planning & ForecastingCoordinate and manage the monthly demand planning cycle across all Group Business Units (BUs)Consolidate, validate, and analyze demand forecasts to ensure accuracy and consistencyIncorporate key inputs such as customer demand, fleet data, campaigns, and major events into forecasting modelsIdentify forecast gaps and recommend corrective actions to improve forecast reliabilityOrdering & Inventory ControlDrive disciplined ordering practices using CAT tools and internal planning systemsMonitor adherence to planning parameters and ordering policiesAnalyze planned vs. emergency orders and implement corrective actions to reduce unplanned demandSupport optimization of order quantities and timing to improve inventory efficiencyInventory Governance & ComplianceReview and approve add-to-stock, rebuild, and non-stock requests in line with governance policiesEnsure compliance with Group inventory, returns, and stock management policies across all business unitsPromote adherence to Strategic Inventory Governance (SIG) standards and best practicesBackorder & Supply OptimizationMonitor backorder levels and drive conversion into structured planned ordersIdentify root causes of backorders and propose sustainable solutionsSupport improvements in parts availability and service levelsWorking Capital & Inventory HealthMonitor and analyze key working capital components including:Inventory allocationsWork in Progress (WIP)Protected partsStock aging and obsolescenceIdentify risks and opportunities to optimize inventory investment and reduce excess stockSurplus & Returns ManagementAnalyze surplus inventory, returns, inter-territorial transfers, and annual write-offsRecommend actions to minimize financial impact and improve inventory turnoverSupport initiatives to reduce obsolescence and improve stock utilizationData Analysis & ReportingDevelop and maintain dashboards and analytical reports (Excel / Power BI)Track key KPIs related to forecast accuracy, inventory performance, and working capitalProvide insights and recommendations to support decision-making at Group levelStakeholder CollaborationWork closely with supply chain, operations, finance, and commercial teamsFacilitate alignment across business units on planning assumptions and execution prioritiesCommunicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersJob Requirements:EducationBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related fieldExperienceMinimum 1- 2 years of experience in:Parts planningSupply chain managementDemand planningOperations or logisticsExperience in inventory control or forecasting environments is highly preferredTechnical SkillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory)Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools is a strong advantageFamiliarity with ERP systems and planning tools (e.g., CAT systems) is preferredStrong data analysis and reporting capabilitiesCore CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail with structured thinkingSolid understanding of inventory management principles and KPIsAbility to manage large datasets and extract actionable insightsSoft SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholdersStrong organizational and time management skillsHigh level of ownership, accountability, and disciplinePerformance-driven mindset with continuous improvement approachLanguageVery good command of English (written and spoken)
