Head of Network & Security

Job Responsibilities: Initiates, facilitates and promotes activities to create information security awareness throughout the company.Monitors the internal control systems to ensure that appropriate access levels are maintained.Responsible for the company’s network and electronic documents’ security, to remain up to date.Ensures that backup systems operate effectively.Analyzes technology and industry trends to determine organizational objectives, and then develop strategic plans to meet goals.Ensures the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data residing on or transmitted to/from/through company workstations, servers and other systems and in databases and other data repositories.Oversees security tools, policies, and procedures to be complied with corporate standards vendor management, and other IT personnel for problem resolutionSupervises Network and security complex solutions in a multivendor environment.Supervising the implementation and troubleshooting of Voice over IP, and Cisco Collaboration solution, and future planningPerforms network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.Monitors network performance and ensure system availability and reliability, and prepare future planningMonitors security system and users’ behavior, to detect and response to security risks, and prepare for future security systems enhancementProvides Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issuesResponsible for monitoring all IT-related security and safety issues within a company.Qualification:University degree in Computer Science or a related subject.Experience: From 8-10 years of extensive hands-on experience in network implementations and configurations including, not limited to Cisco Switches, Routers, Firewalls, IPS, and VOIP.Proven experience in network and security engineering experience.CCNA-R&S, CCNP-R&S, CCNA-SEC, CCNP-SEC, and PNCSE is a must.CCIE-R&S, CCIE-SEC are preferred.Cisco Catalyst switches and Nexuses Switches.Cisco Collaboration solutions and Call gateways.Cisco Fire Thread Defense solution, Palo Alto solution, ASA, MacAfee IPS, F5 LTM and ASM.Monitoring, network and security diagnostic and network and security analytics tools.Solid knowledge about all network protocols and various LAN/WAN topologies (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, IPS, ASM etc.)Job-Specific Skills:Tremendous network and security troubleshooting skills.Working with people/ Teamwork.Learning & Researching.Coping with pressures & setbacks.Achieving Personal & work goals and results.
