Head of Policies and Procedures

Job Summary:Leads and manages the Bank’s policies and procedures framework, ensuring all operating documents are properly controlled, updated, accessible, and compliant with regulations and internal controls.Job Responsibilities:Lead and oversee the Bank’s policies, procedures and documentation governance framework.Manage the documentation lifecycle, including approval, publication, version control, periodic reviews, and archiving.Maintain documentation standards and the central repository to ensure accuracy, quality and accessibility. Collaborate with stakeholders, communicate updated policies and procedures to affected teams, and drive continuous improvement across the Bank.Assist in the development of training materials, awareness content, job aids, FAQs, and supporting materials related to new or updated procedures in coordination with concerned business owners.Job Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, Economics, Banking, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.MBA, Master’s degree, or executive education in Policy Management, Governance, Operational Excellence, Business Process Management, Risk Management, Compliance, or Banking Operations is preferred.10 - 12+ years of relevant experience in policies and procedures management, governance documentation, banking operations, process documentation, operational excellence, internal control, compliance, risk management, business process management or relevant banking experience.Banking or financial services experience is strongly preferred, with proven exposure to institutional policy frameworks, procedure development, regulatory alignment, documentation lifecycle management, central repository governance, stakeholder coordination, and audit readiness.Preferred Certifications:Policy management, governance, compliance, risk management, Lean Six Sigma, BPM, internal control, operational excellence, or equivalent certification or executive education in Policy and Procedure Management, Governance, Banking Operations, or Operational Excellence.
