For Logistica A DP World Company Job Purpose: Responsible for implementing and monitoring the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. The role ensures all operations adhere to legal requirements and company.Key Responsibilities:Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to HSEEnsure that all HSE policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated, and communicated.Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to HSE including statutory training and reporting.Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and aspect impact analysisEnsure that all accidents and environmental cases are documented, investigated, and recommended improvements implemented.Ensure that safety inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments and lone working procedures are managed, and employees are aware of their responsibilities.Co-ordinate the development of HSE policies, systems of work and procedures.Ensure full and accurate HSE and training records are maintained.Establish a full program of documented HSE inspections, audits, and checks.Establish a structured program of HSE trainingConduct food safety, health & safety inspections, prepare the reports and track the CAPAs.Conduct the needed risk assessments (occupational, manual handling, personal protective equipment).Conduct Food Safety training to the needed employeesAny other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.Ensuring that a quality management system is implemented and maintainedEnsuring that relevant customer complaints are dealt with effectivelyEnsure that warehouse operations are compliant with GDP/ GMP standards and instructionsComply with OH&S policy, standards, OH&S objectives, and training.Report any incidents (Accidents or near misses).Comply with environmental management’s standards, objectives, and training.Report immediately on any environmental incidents.Qualifications & Experience:BSc. In Science or EngineeringHSE specialist certificateFirst aid certificate from approved governmental authorityFirefighting certificate from approved authorities
