Hotel Reservation Agent (Tourism)

Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Hotel Reservation Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in hotel reservations within the tourism industry and be able to manage bookings efficiently while maintaining excellent communication with hotels, suppliers, and clients.Key Responsibilities:Handle hotel reservations and booking requests accurately and efficiently.Coordinate with hotels and suppliers to confirm reservations and availability.Follow up on booking confirmations, modifications, and cancellations.Ensure reservation details are updated accurately in the system.Communicate with internal teams to ensure smooth reservation operations.Resolve reservation-related issues in a timely and professional manner.Maintain high standards of customer service and operational accuracy.Requirements:Bachelor's degree.Minimum 3 years of experience in Hotel Reservations.Previous experience in the Tourism Industry is required.Good knowledge of hotel booking procedures and reservation systems.Good command of English (written and spoken).Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Preferred:Experience working with travel agencies or Destination Management Companies (DMCs).Familiarity with hotel reservation platforms and tourism systems.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
