Our portfolio spans infrastructure, commercial, residential, and governmental sectors, supported by a culture of technical excellence and innovation.Job Purpose Preparing accurate HVAC system designs, calculations, and drawings in compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, and company standards. The role supports coordination with other disciplines and provides technical input throughout the design and construction stages to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable HVAC solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare HVAC design drawings, schematics, layouts, and equipment schedules.Perform heating/cooling load calculations and duct sizing using approved software.Select HVAC equipment based on project requirements and manufacturer guidelines.Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA).Support senior engineers in developing design concepts and technical reports.Prepare BOQs and assist in specifications development.Coordinate HVAC design with electrical, plumbing, firefighting, architectural, and structural disciplines.Attend design meetings and incorporate technical feedback.Provide technical support during construction (RFIs, clarifications, site modifications).Collaborate with BIM and drafting teams to ensure accuracy of drawings.Ensure completeness and accuracy of design deliverables.Maintain updated design files, calculation sheets, and project documentation.Follow internal QA/QC procedures and design standards.Support value engineering efforts to optimize system performance and cost.Stay updated on new HVAC technologies and design tools.Participate in internal training sessions and contribute to knowledge sharing.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (HVAC specialization preferred).2–5 years of experience in HVAC design within engineering consultancy or contracting companies.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Proficiency in HVAC design software: HAP, Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Carrier E20, or similar tools.Experience in designing HVAC systems for commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects is preferred.Strong communication and coordination skills.High attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Very good command of English (written & spoken).
