About UsEstablished in 2017 as a Pirelli spin-off, Prometeon Tyre Group is the only tyre manufacturer that focuses entirely on the Industrial, namely transport of goods and people, Agro and Off the Road (OTR) sectors.With a more than 8,000 employees across 30 nationalities, 4 manufacturing sites, 4 R&D centers and a commercial presence spanning 160 countries in 5 continents, the Company is the trusted partner for everyone who demands high-quality industrial tyres with a special focus on performance and sustainability.Role descriptionWe are looking for an Indirect Buyer to join our Procurement team, with a global scope and a strong connection to our Italian HQ.📍 Location: Egypt📊 Reporting line: HQ Indirect Procurement Team (Italy)You will play a key role in executing and supporting indirect procurement activities (CAPEX, OPEX, goods & services) across multiple regions, including Brazil, Egypt and Türkiye, ensuring alignment with HQ strategy and procurement governance.Acting as a bridge between HQ, local stakeholders, and suppliers, you will contribute to both operational procurement execution and sourcing activities, depending on your experience and seniority.Key responsibilities:Sourcing & ProcurementExecute sourcing and purchasing activities for indirect categoriesSupport or lead RFQ/RFP processes, supplier evaluation, and negotiationsManage purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase ordersEnsure timely execution and follow-up of procurement processesSupplier & Contract ManagementInterface with suppliers on operational and commercial topicsSupport supplier selection, qualification, and onboardingAssist or lead contract negotiations in line with procurement standardsMonitor supplier performance and contribute to improvement actionsProcurement OperationsManage day-to-day procurement activities (POs, tracking, issue resolution)Follow up on orders, deliveries, and service executionEnsure alignment with HQ timelines and guidelinesCross-functional & Regional CoordinationAct as a key interface between HQ Procurement, local teams, and suppliersCollaborate with Engineering, Operations, Finance, HR, Legal, and QualityEnsure effective communication across regionsGovernance & ComplianceEnsure compliance with procurement policies and Delegation of AuthorityMaintain proper documentation and audit readinessPromote best practices and procurement standardsSystems & PerformanceUse SAP (or ERP systems) for PR/PO management and supplier dataEnsure data accuracy and completenessSupport reporting on savings, sourcing pipeline, and supplier performanceRequirements:Experience in procurement / purchasing / supply chain (0–5 years)Understanding of sourcing processes and supplier managementExperience in industrial environments or CAPEX/OPEX is a plusFamiliarity with SAP or ERP systemsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAnalytical mindset and attention to detailProactive, structured and problem-solving attitudeAbility to work both independently and within a global teamBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related fieldMaster’s / MBA is a plusFluent English (mandatory)Italian is strongly recommendedWE MOVE GOODS, WE MOVE PEOPLE, WE MOVE EMOTIONSJoin US!
