The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and executing interior design concepts that align with Guillam’s brand vision. This role involves contributing to space planning, material selection, and visual storytelling, while ensuring designs are both functional and visually compelling.Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive interior design concepts, including space planning, colour schemes, materials, finishes, and furniture layouts, supported by design and market research. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, operational needs, andbrand guidelines. Prepare and present design proposals, including drawings, mood boards, concepts, circulation, zoning studies, and 3D visualisations. Source, specify, and select materials, furnishings, lighting, and décor that align with the project visionand brand identity. Oversee and support the implementation of design projects to ensure execution aligns with the approved design plans and specifications. Assist with project budgeting, including the preparation of initial cost estimates. Stay up to date with interior design trends, new materials, and emerging design technologies to ensure fresh and innovative design outcomes. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. 0–2 years of experience in interior design, with an impressive portfolio demonstrating relevant projects. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite. SketchUp experience is a plus. Comprehensive understanding of space planning, colour theory, circulation, zoning, and materials. Solid knowledge of rendering tools (e.g., Corona, V-Ray). Exceptional communication, presentation, and research skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. Proficient working knowledge of AI tools. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively. Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to interior design.
