Founded in 2006, the company pursued innovative thinking in making unique global perfumes which match the lifestyles and personalities of all clients.Primary Function: The Interior Designer will support the execution, supervision, and coordination of interior fit-out and decoration projects across all MDM brands and locations. The role will focus primarily on site supervision, project execution, contractor coordination, and ensuring design implementation aligns with approved concepts, quality standards, timelines, and budgets.In addition to execution responsibilities, the designer will assist in 3D design, preparing shop drawings, and producing technical documentation required for project delivery.Key Responsibilities1. Site Supervision & Project ExecutionSupervise ongoing interior fit-out and decoration works on-site to ensure execution matches approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.Coordinate daily with contractors, suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.Monitor project progress, resolve on-site issues, and ensure work is executed according to schedule and operational requirements.Conduct regular site inspections and follow up on workmanship, materials, safety compliance, and finishing quality. Ensure all execution activities comply with company standards, safety regulations, and approved construction documents.Review contractor work, site measurements, and material installations to ensure accuracy and consistency with approved designs.Support project handovers by ensuring all works are completed, snag lists are resolved, and final finishes meet MDM standards.2. Design Development & Technical DocumentationPrepare and develop 2D drawings, shop drawings, layout plans, elevations, and technical details for interior projects.Assist in developing 3D concepts, mood boards, material selections, and presentation materials for internal approvals.Modify and update drawings based on site conditions, operational needs, and management feedback.Coordinate technical drawings with contractors, MEP teams, and external consultants when required.3. Project Coordination & CommunicationWork closely with internal stakeholders to ensure project requirements and operational needs are fully integrated into execution plans.Coordinate with procurement teams for material approvals, delivery schedules, and supplier follow-up.Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates to management and relevant teams.Ensure effective communication between all parties involved in the project to maintain workflow efficiency and project alignment.4. Budgeting & Resource ManagementAssist in monitoring project costs and maintaining cost-effective execution solutions without compromising quality.Support material sourcing, quantity verification, and procurement coordination for interior finishes, furniture, and fixtures.Track material usage and site requirements to avoid delays and unnecessary costs.Qualifications & SkillBachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.5 years or more of experience in interior design, fit-out execution, or site supervision, preferably in commercial, retail, or corporate environments.Strong knowledge of interior fit-out execution, site coordination, and construction detailing.Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Corona Renderer, and Adobe Creative Suite.Ability to prepare technical drawings and shop drawings accurately.Good understanding of construction materials, site practices, and building regulations.Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and coordination abilities with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
