IOT Engineer

Summary:We are looking for a highly skilled Senior IoT Developer to design, develop, and support scalable end-to-end IoT solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in embedded systems, cloud IoT platforms, backend development, and IoT architecture, with the ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and ensure secure, high-performance IoT deployments.Responsibilities:Design and implement scalable end-to-end IoT solutions.Develop and maintain IoT architecture, firmware, and device integrations.Integrate IoT platforms with enterprise backend systems and cloud services.Ensure security across IoT devices, communication, and cloud platforms.Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.Participate in architecture reviews and technical decision-making.Support UAT, production deployment, and post-production optimization.Create and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams.Mentor junior engineers and conduct code and design reviews.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality IoT solutions.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.5+ years of experience in IoT development or a similar role.Strong knowledge of end-to-end IoT architecture and solution design.Hands-on experience with IoT protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, and HTTP.Proficiency in embedded programming using C/C++ and Python.Experience with cloud IoT platforms such as AWS IoT or Azure IoT.Strong backend development and microservices experience.Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and time-series databases.Good experience with Linux/Unix administration.Understanding of networking technologies, including LTE, NB-IoT, and LoRaWAN.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices is a plus.Familiarity with IoT security, monitoring tools, and real-time data processing is an advantage.Excellent English communication skills.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently, take ownership, and perform effectively under pressure.
