We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented JUNIOR CHEMIST to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a key part in conducting advanced microbiological analyses, ensuring accuracy and reliability in results, and supporting our laboratory’s mission to deliver high-quality outcomes.Conduct testing using standard and advanced laboratory techniques (e.g., titrations, pH measurement, viscosity checks, density determination, and formulation stability testing).Analyze samples from raw materials, finished goods, and environmental sources to verify chemical composition and detect impurities.Identify and quantify active ingredients, chemical by-products, and physical properties relevant to product safety and quality.Interpret test results accurately and document findings in detailed reports.Ensure timely and transparent communication of test results with relevant departments (e.g., QA/QC, R&D, production).Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments such as pH meters, balances, viscometers, spectrophotometers, and titration apparatus.Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure compliance with maintenance protocols.Maintain meticulous laboratory records, test logs, and certificates of analysis (COAs).Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, ISO standards, and relevant national/international regulatory guidelines.Follow all laboratory health, safety, and hygiene protocols.Participate in internal audits, validation studies, and risk assessments.Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.Work closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, QC, Production, Regulatory Affairs).Attend training sessions, workshops, and internal knowledge-sharing events to stay updated with emerging techniques and industry trends. Education: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a closely related field.Experience: 1–2 year of laboratory experience is preferred.Technical Skills: Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and instrumentation.Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Safety Awareness: Thorough understanding of laboratory safety practices and protocols.
