Learn more at www.dar.com.Job Summary:Dar is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead/Senior Steel Structure Engineer to join our Steel Structures Unit. The successful candidate will lead the analysis, design, review, and coordination of structural steel systems for a wide range of projects, including complex and large-scale facilities. This role requires strong technical background and expertise in structural analysis, steel design, BIM/Revit, design validation, and quality assurance to ensure compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, and standards while delivering high-quality engineering solutions.Responsibilities:1. Structural Analysis & DesignDevelop and select the most appropriate structural steel system for each project.Perform structural analysis and design for complex and large-scale steel structures.Prepare structural calculations, design reports, technical presentations, and engineering documentation.Validate engineering methodologies, design assumptions, and loading criteria to ensure safe and efficient designs.2. Design Review & Quality AssuranceReview and evaluate structural steel models, drawings, and design documentation.Verify compliance with project specifications, international codes, and standards.Identify design inconsistencies, technical risks, and coordination issues during early project stages.Provide technical follow-up, monitoring, and guidance to junior engineers.3. BIM Coordination & Multidisciplinary CollaborationLead BIM-based coordination for structural steel projects using Revit.Coordinate effectively with architectural, facade, and MEP disciplines to ensure seamless project integration.Utilize BIM workflows for model development, clash detection, and interdisciplinary coordination.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering (master's degree is an advantage).Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in relevant structural steel analysis and design.Strong expertise in structural analysis and design software.Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and BIM workflows.Proven experience in reviewing structural calculations, models, and design deliverables.Excellent communication, technical writing, and coordination abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality and technical excellence.** While we carefully review all applications, only candidates meeting the specified requirements will be contacted for further consideration.
