Real Estate Transactions & Project DevelopmentLead and manage the legal due diligence process for all potential land and property acquisitions, identifying and advising on titles, encumbrances, zoning regulations, and potential legal risks.Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of real estate agreements, including but not limited to:Land Purchase and Sale Agreements (PSAs)Joint Venture and Development AgreementsConstruction Contracts, and agreements with architects, engineers, and consultants.Oversee the legal aspects of project financing, including reviewing and negotiating loan agreements, mortgages, pledges, and other security documents.Manage the legal framework for project sales and leasing, including drafting and standardizing templates for Reservation Forms, Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs), and commercial/residential lease agreements.Corporate & Commercial LawProvide legal counsel on general corporate matters, including company formation, corporate governance, and compliance with corporate law.Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including agreements with suppliers, service providers, marketing agencies, and technology vendors.Litigation and Dispute ResolutionManage and oversee all litigation and disputes involving the company, including claims from contractors, clients, tenants, and third parties.Develop and implement strategies for dispute resolution, including negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation.Prepare litigation reports for senior management, outlining risks, costs, and recommended courses of action.Regulatory Compliance & GovernanceMonitor and ensure the company's compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including real estate development laws, construction codes, environmental regulations, and consumer protection laws.Act as a key liaison with governmental and regulatory bodies, including land registries, municipal authorities, development authorities, and environmental agencies.Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risk across the organization.Advise management on the legal and regulatory implications of proposed business strategies and new projects. Bachelor’s Degree in Law..A minimum of 8-10 years of post-qualification legal experience.At least 5 years of direct experience in real estate law, either in-house with a reputable real estate developer or with a top-tier law firm in its real estate practice group.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Proven experience in managing a legal team or acting in a senior supervisory capacity.Demonstrable experience handling complex real estate transactions from inception to completion.Expert knowledge of real estate law, property rights, zoning, and construction law.Fluency in English is required.
