Role Summary The Logistics Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of products and materials within our local supply chain, specifically focusing on e-commerce fulfillment and boutique distribution. This role requires close coordination with internal teams, warehouse operations, and external partners to maintain seamless operations and timely deliveries. Main Responsibilities (including but not limited to) 1. E-commerce Operations for Local Orders • Oversee the end-to-end logistics process for local e-commerce orders, from order placement to customer delivery. • Prepare local online orders by personally managing the picking, packing, and dispatch processes to ensure timely shipment. • Follow up on online orders using the e-commerce system Shopify, ensuring accurate tracking and timely updates. • Monitor order statuses, address potential delays, and proactively communicate it with stakeholders. • Manage relationships with local last-mile delivery partners (Facilities & Warehouse), ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met. 2. Local Distribution to Our Boutiques • Plan, schedule, and execute the regular distribution of products and merchandise to all local boutiques, aligning closely with product planning team to ensure timely deliveries. • Optimize delivery routes and schedules to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation to each boutique location. • Coordinate with the retail logistics team to ensure the timely distribution of all necessary packaging materials and printed collateral to boutiques. 3. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Communication • Serve as the primary logistics liaison between the warehouse/distribution center and internal teams, including retail, e-commerce, and facilities. • Ensure accurate inventory records and smooth transfer of goods between the warehouse and other distribution points (e.g., boutiques, e-commerce fulfillment area). • Coordinate space requirements and efficient material handling within facilities to support logistics operations. • Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and various departments to facilitate seamless supply chain workflows. • Provide timely updates and coordinate between teams to promptly resolve issues and ensure operational efficiency. 4. Documentation & Compliance • Prepare and review shipping and customs documentation to comply with laws and regulations. • Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in all logistics activities. 5. Data Analysis & Reporting • Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on logistics performance metrics. 6. Problem Solving & Issue Resolution • Resolve issues related to shipment delays, damaged goods, or inventory discrepancies. • Act as a point of contact for logistics-related problems and implement corrective actions. Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent practical experience in logistics operations may be considered. • Work Experience: 1-3 years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain, or distribution, preferably within retail or e-commerce environments. Skills: • Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain processes. • Experience using e-commerce systems like Shopify. • Ability to prepare and coordinate shipments efficiently. • Competent in managing relationships with delivery partners and outsourced shipping companies. • Proficient with basic computer programs, particularly Microsoft Excel.
